Today we made a visit to our local beach called Big Wave Beach. It's quite popular with surfers as you can imagine. Ella and Eva both own boogy boards and have been using them a few times. Today Ella really got the hang of it and Carl decided to rent a surf board for the afternoon. Within an hour she was surfing the waves and was able to stand up while riding! We were quite impressed....You should have seen her smile.
Eva wasn't too interested in all this surfdudestuff as they sometimes call it...She played in a puddle between the rocks and had a lot more fun with letting snails suck her skin. She would walk around with these snails sticking to her legs. Quite a sight!
They both had a great day. If you wonder what Carl and I did....Carl taught Ella and drank a bunch of Chinese beers. I just laid om my towel trying to recover from a flu...

I think Ella will be big in sports and Eva will specialize in Chinese medical science. Carl and you have appearently already discovered your talents.
